Tourist guide
I work as a tourist guide in Rotterdam, The Hague, Delft, Dordrecht, Gouda, Kinderdijk and Zeeland.
Usually I am hired through specialised agencies to work for groups visiting Holland. Working languages are Dutch, German, Italian, French and English. For detailed information go to the next page (Your guide).
Mobility consulting
From 1996 to 2013 I was employed in Rotterdam as a consultant in mobility management.
This means that I was involved as a coordinator in state campaigns to stimulate the use of public transport and bicycles in the Rotterdam agglomeration. I now work 2 days a week as the general secretary of the Rotterdam/The Hague Metropoolregio Public Transport Advisory Committee (Metrocov) and I am on the committee of the Rotterdam Cyclist Federation (Fietsersbond Rotterdam).
Italian classes
Having mastered Italian at a superior level, and having passed various exams, sharing my knowledge of this beautiful language is one of my passions. I regularly teach Italian at Dante Alighieri Rotterdam. My courses are not just about language; they offer a fascinating mix of language and Italian history and culture.
