AND READY TO HELP YOU:
I work as a tourist guide in Rotterdam, The Hague, Delft, Dordrecht, Gouda, Kinderdijk and Zeeland. Usually I am hired through specialised agencies to work for groups visiting Holland. Working languages are Dutch, German, Italian, French and English. For detailed information go to the next page (Your guide).
I have worked for various touroperators specialised in letting out holidays homes in Italy. More specifically I was responsible for coordination with the owners in Italy, a country that I know exceptionally well. At the moment I still occasionally provide services to people looking for holiday accommodation in Italy, now on an individual basis.
Having mastered Italian at a superior level, and having passed various exams I have always been eager to share my knowledge of this beautiful language.I regularly teach Italian at Dante Alighieri Rotterdam and the Emmaus College Rotterdam. My courses are not just about language; they offer a fascinating mix of language and Italian history and culture.
From 1996 to 2013 I was employed in Rotterdam as a consultant in mobility management.
This means that I was involved as a coordinator in state campaigns to stimulate the use of public transport and bicycles in the Rotterdam agglomeration. Although I have since moved to other work my experience as a mobility consultant is still in demand. I now have a seat on the Rotterdam/The Hague Metropoolregio Public Transport Advisory Committee and am a consultant for the Rotterdam Cyclist Federation (Fietsersbond Rotterdam).
